Herbstwald im Neandertal
Fall colors, Neandertal, Mettmann and Erkrath, Germany. Yesterday. The Neanderthal Man got its name from the Neandertal Valley. In 1856 remains of the Homo neanderthalensis were found here for the first time.
The fatest tagging markers I’ve ever seen
…and such beautiful colors! I ran to the display in auspicious ecstasy but unfortunately these are actually spray cans. I like the design but would have loved such super fat Edding markers (compare the size of the normal permanent markers on the right side). Edding is very popular in Germany, their company name is used as a generic name for permanent markers. Seen in this shop in Mettmann.

Im Schneestau
Fahrt von Wülfrath nach Mettmann (B7) heute früh. 4 km, normalerweise 7 Minuten, heute 90 Minuten. Dafür hatte ich Zeit, blöd aus dem Fenster zu gucken…
In the snow traffic jam – Drive from Wülfrath to Mettmann (B7) this morning. 4 km, usually takes 7 minutes, today 90 minutes. But I had time to look at that nice fresh-fallen snow.
Glitzernder Ausblick
