Run DC - Obama’s Inauguration today
A very nice Obama t-shirt in a original RUN DMC logo style [available here, via BoingBoing]. Perfect for Obama’s inauguration today. Since the early morning thousands of people are moving to the National Mall in Washington D.C., the official inauguration program will start at 10 a.m., the inauguration itself at noon (D.C. time). CNN is reporting the whole day, Twitter is more concrete and current. I’m on Twitter, too. Follow me (mostly tweeting in German)
Sehr cooles Obama-T-Shirt, dem Original-RUN-DMC-Logo nachempfunden [hier erhältlich, via BoingBoing]. Sehr passend zur heutigen Amtseinführung Obamas. Seit den frühen Morgenstunden strömen Tausende auf das „National-Mall“-Gelände in Washington D.C., das offizielle Programm startet um 16h, die Amtseinführung selbst ab 18h (deutsche Zeit). CNN berichtet den ganzen Tag, wesentlich konkreter und aktueller ist Twitter. Ich habe auch einen Twitter-Account, folge mir.
Tele 5 gelobt Besserung
In aktuellen Trailern verspricht Tele 5, 2009 alle Call-In-Gewinnspiel-Shows, und jegliche Sex- und Klingeltonwerbung aus dem Programm zu werfen. Wie löblich, nach dem unerträglichen Werbemüll der letzten Jahre. Lohnt sich wohl nicht mehr. Das Call-In-Quiz ist leider eine deutsche Erfindung von 2001, in Holland ist es gesetzlich verboten.
Tele 5 promises improvement – In current trailers German TV channel Tele 5 promises to kick out any call-in quiz shows, sex and ringtone commercials from their program. How commendable after years of unbearable advertising junk. Might not pay anymore. These phone-in quizzes unfortunately were invented in Germany in 2001, in the Netherlands they are forbidden by law.
