It has become quite its trademark especially the houses at Lyon St. I think the movie of Cameron Diaz the sweetest thing was shot there.

We’re the house to the right (uphill) from “112 Lyon St, where Janis Joplin lived.”

Our home was built in 1891, so I suppose 112 Lyon was built about the same time.

Hier bei uns in düsseldorf war der start der deutschen punkbewegung und was ist davon übriggeblieben ausser ein paar wochenendpunks? punk ist nicht ne lederjacke tragen, lustige haare zur schau stellen und besoffen auf der straße rumhängen. punk ist ne lebenseinstellung. punk meint eine neue definition der gesellschaft und nicht die kritik daran.

Gibt regelmäßig Ärger mit den Altbewohnern, wobei einige der ergrauten Hippies schon Gewissensbisse kriegen, wenn ausgerechnet sie die Polizei wegen Ruhestörung o.ä. rufen. Geschichte wiederholt sich.
