actually those trees in cathedral grove are not nearly the largest found in Canada that was just a plot that had large variations of diffrent species such as douglas fur red cedar and western hemlock maybe some spruce but the majority of the REALLY big trees have all been cut down i know cause im a logger in port hardy on the north end of vancouver island all of british columbia was covered in trees like this at one point and many of them where much bigger than these trees some cedar in provincial parks up here are around 2000 years old
