Wie gesagt: die Regeln waren mir anfangs auch schleierhaft. Ich habe nicht gesehen, dass irgendwas auf die Wägen geworfen wurde; die vier Reiter standen am Anfang und hielten ihre eigenen und die Pferde am Wagen und mussten, nachdem der Wagen die Kurve gefahren war, auf ihre eigenen, schon galoppierenden Pferde aufspringen und hinterher reiten. Das Ganze war wirklich ziemlich rustikal.

Nicht ganz kapiert, was die Reiter so machen. Laut Wikipedia: “Chuckwagons are raced around a figure eight barrel obstacle, and the stove and tent poles within the wagon must not be lost. The racing team also has four “outriders” who load the tent poles at the start and must finish the race with the Chuckwagon.” Also schmeißen die am Anfang irgendwas auf die Karre und es gewinnt, wer zuerst mit Wagen und Reitern durch das Ziel fährt?
