The theme park ‘Dubai Land’ will be twice the size of Disneyland, with a Ski Dome featuring 6,000 tons of snow.

Der Vergnügungspark ‘Dubai Land’ wird doppelt so groß wie Disneyland, unter anderem gibts einen Ski-Dome mit 6.000 Tonnen Schnee.

Prada LG Touchscreen Phone Handy Mobiltelefon Cellphone

Today LG and Prada presented their “world’s first completely touch screen mobile phone” (LG press release). First pics were published in december. In most tech-specs Apples iPhone is superior “although Prada’s phone does offer at least one thing missing from the iPhone: a memory card slot.” (Infoworld). Engadet compares the similar design with the iPhone. The Prada phone will cost 600€, available in European Prada stores in February, later in Asia. No plans to bring it to America.

Heute stellten LG und Prada ihr „welterstes Nur-Touchscreen-Handy” vor (LG-Pressemitteilung). Erste Bilder gabs schon im Dezember. Technisch ist es schlechter ausgestattet als Apples iPhone, hat dafür aber einen Slot für Speicherkarten (Infoworld). Bei Engadet gibts einen Designvergleich. Für 600€ ab Februar in europäischen Prada-Stores zu haben, danach in Asien. Bisher keine Verkaufspläne für Amerika.

Der grüne Scheisspunkt
Am 8.1. sahen wir im WDR-Fernsehen die Sendung „Müll-Geschäfte – Der Milliarden-Poker mit Grünem Punkt und Gelbem Sack“. Als Konsequenz beenden wir unsere jahrelange strikte Mülltrennung von Plastik- und Restmüll. Grob zusammengefaßt ist der grüne Punkt eine reine Geldschäffelei des nicht staatlichen Unternehmens “Duales System Deutschland GmbH“, das mit illegalen Methoden und Politikereinkauf sein Müllmonopol gegen Konkurrenten verteidigt und mit Umweltschutz soviel am Hut hat wie Makrelen mit Nintendo. Sie schaffen nicht mal prozentual mehr Plastik auszusortieren als moderne Restmüllanlagen. Am Ende landen Restmüllplastik und die duale Verarschung in den selben Verbrennungsanlagen. Wir empfehlen deshalb bewusst keine gelben Tonnen und Säcke zu befüllen, da die Firma “Duales System Deutschland GmbH” Geld für jedes Kilo angeblich recycelten Müll bekommt, das wir Verbraucher mit dem Kauf von Produkten in Grüner-Punkt-Verpackungen bezahlen. Altpapier- und -glas werden wir selbstverständlich weiterhin sammeln.

Yesyesyes! We’re heading to Star Trek more and more. Finally after years of waiting here is the successor to my beloved Newton MP 2100: A 3.5″ widescreen iPod and Videoplayer with OS X, a quad-band cell phone, a 2MP cam, ‘multi-touch’ gesture control, accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. With 2 year contract: 499 US$. I’m looking forward to games on this machine! The iPhone comes this autum to Europe.

Juchhei! Wir kommen Star Trek immer näher. Nach Jahren des Wartens kann ich mein Message Pad auf eBay verscheuern, denn es gibt einen würdigen Nachfolger: Einen Widescreen-iPod und Videoplayer mit OS X, einem Quad-Band-Handy, einer 2-Megapixel-Kamera, ‘Multi-Touch’-Gestenbedienung, Bewegungssensor, Umgebungslichtsensor und Näherrungssensor. Mit 2-Jahres-Mobilfunkvertrag: 499 US$. Bin auf Spiele auf dem Teil gespannt! Das iPhone kommt im Herbst nach Europa.
